Our emergency shelter, Laura's House, has 5 rooms for individuals and families. We believe in renewal and empowering individuals to reclaim their lives. 1,282 clients were provided with safe and warm nights last year!

Nearly half of domestic violence victims choose to stay in dangerous situations rather than leave their pet behind. REACH provides free pet stays at local premier pet boarding facilities, enabling them to escape an unsafe environment while assuring the safety of their pets.

Too often, an abusive partner will inflict injury upon a pet resulting in the need for emergency vet care. REACH not only provides boarding, but we also pay veterinarians to care for injured pets and pay for pets to be vaccinated as necessary.

There are times when staying in the same county as an abuser is too dangerous for a victim of domestic violence and it becomes necessary for REACH to make travel arrangements for clients to take a bus, a train, or an Uber out of the radius of danger at no cost to the client(s).
