Bonnie M. Smith has demonstrated extensive leadership in women’s and children’s health. She served for many years as Vice President at a 500-bed hospital, where she developed healthcare strategies across a comprehensive range of women’s and children’s services, including negotiating partnerships with other hospitals and community organizations. She has been a long-time advocate for Planned Parenthood and has served as a Board Chair as well as taking on the role of interim Executive Director for the 4-state Planned affiliate serving this area. Her professional background highlights significant community and Board involvement and leadership across various non-profit organizations, including implementing strategic plans that secured substantial donor support and serving as lead for many local fundraising events.
